The application for a startup visa is done online, but you must be in Spain during the application process.
From the moment you submit your application, you can stay in Spain legally; however, staying in Spain to wait for approval is not mandatory. An alternative option is to enter the country within a month after approval when it's time to process the visa.
Congratulations! Within 1-2 months after the approval of your project, you can apply for a residence card. And once you have European residency, you will have access to an abundance of opportunities for the next 3 years!
