Key Requirements
European Path (with EU Permanent Residence)
Must prove one of the following: employment contract in Spain, job offer, studies in Spain, or sufficient financial means (from €37,000). Private medical insurance and Spanish registration required.
Spanish Path (5 years in Spain)
Legally and continuously reside in Spain for at least 5 years before application. Continuity is not broken by departures up to 6 months in a row, totaling no more than 10 months over 5 years.
